AI Engineer & Tech Entrepreneur
I'm Glorry Sibomana, an AI Engineer and Tech Entrepreneur currently pursuing my Master's in Artificial Intelligence at Carnegie Mellon University, Africa. My work spans AI systems, fintech platforms, and building companies that solve real problems in Africa.
I'm the Co-founder of Piaxis Tech LTD in Uganda, a fintech company building the Piaxis app launching soon with peer-to-peer payments, online and in-store shopping, escrows, business CRMs, SACCOs management, and more. I'm also the CEO and Founder of AI Studio Rwanda, focused on edge AI, AI for low-resource settings, and agentic AI systems.
I build end-to-end solutions from AI backends with LLMs and RAG pipelines, to web applications with Next.js and Django, to mobile apps with Flutter and React Native. Recognized by Google DeepMind and Cohere for contributions to multilingual AI research. Gold Prize winner at Cohere Expedition Aya.
